The Keller Group was established as the Ground Engineering Division of Guest, Keen and Nettlefolds (GKN plc) in the 1950s. GKN dates its origins to 1759. In 1975 it acquired Johann Keller, a German ground engineering business (founded in 1860) from which the name of the company is derived.
In 1984 Keller bought Hayward Baker Inc., a premier US ground engineering business, founded in 1948. For more information on Hayward Baker, visit www.haywardbaker.com. Over the next 30 years, it acquired several other prominent piling, foundation and ground engineering companies in the US and abroad, including Case Foundations, HJ Foundations, McKinney Drilling, Geo-Foundations, Layne GEO (Bencor), Keller Canada and others. The Keller Group has been listed on the London Stock Exchange since 1994. Keller Canada was established in July 2013 when the Keller Group acquired North American Caisson Ltd, a division of North American Construction Group (NACG), previously founded in 1988.
Today the Keller Group is a global company working in over 40 countries with over 10,000 employees. Group annual revenues exceed $3 billion (Canadian).
The hallmark of Keller Canada is the loyalty and retention of senior management, executive, and operational staff. The same local knowledge, experience, operations, and solutions-driven results are now complemented with an added focus: increased technical capabilities, global strength, and access to capital. All this allows Keller Canada to further increase the value we offer the clients and industries we serve.
